15 Fantastic Toddler Valentines Day Books

Valentines Day is almost here! We absolutely love to read with our son and encourage him to ‘read’ when he is having quiet. I’ve put together a list of engaging and fun books that your little one will love to read. Today I’m super excited to share my top picks for toddler Valentines day books.

Btw, if you are looking for some frugal Valentines Day Date Ideas, check out this list for some inspiration!

We’re starting off strong with Happy Valentines Day, Mouse. My son has loved this books since we got it two years ago. It actually stays on his bookshelf year round!

Another fan favorite (the fan being my toddler), Llama Llama is great in any form! we even have bedsheets! Give your kiddo a book they’ll be reading for years with this one.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar is always a hit. We might be adding this one to our collection this year.

This is a new one for me, but my son is obsessed with dinosaurs (it is even going to be his birthday party theme!) so we re going to give it a whirl.

The Grumpy Monkey series is new to me, but how funny is that cover art?! It’s about a monkey who is (you guessed it) grossed out by love, but learns about different kinds of love, like the love of your parents or friends, along the way.

Groggle is a monster who makes the perfect valentine, but it looks so good that he eats it! Follow along with this grossly adorable tale about making a friend the perfect Valentines Day card.

This is another new series for us, but sounds so cute! It is about a group of kiddos that trap a dinosaur that escaped from the museum and wants to spread love and kindness. I love books that can really get the imagination going, and this one fits the bill!

I grew up reading the Berenstain Bears. So many people have, and I love sharing them with my kiddo. I even read this one when I was teaching in a 2 year old classroom!

I don’t know about you, but I haven’t met a toddler yet that doesn’t love a lift-the-flap book. This classic is full of Valentines Day cheer!
